last weekend i was finally able to get out and shoot - my first winter photography outing.  sad it has taken until mid-january, but the weather, my schedule and my motivation level all finally came together!  i didn't stay out as long as i had hoped due to a little mishap with my boots -- they started to leak!  i've had them for approximately 4 years and apparently i pushed them a little too hard.  now the search for new ones begins -- but i hate replacing shoes when i still love the ones I have.
