T.C.

Did you know that T.C. has only been around since the 2000/2001 season?  I guess the Twins were mascot-less before that.

At Bat

Mauer at bat during last Wednesday's game vs Chicago.  Notice the dirt spraying up from his hit.

This game was drastically better than the last game -- no rain and we won!

May Flowers

This weekend Dana, my husband, graduated from Concordia University!  We went to St Paul Grill for lunch afterward where I had fun checking out their garden.

Morneau takes the plate

My husband and I were lucky enough to get free tickets to last Thursday's Twins game vs the Oriels.  Figured it was a guaranteed win considering they are the worst team in baseball... guess again.  And to top it off, it started raining in the first.  Needless to say my first game experience at Target Field wasn't great, but it still beats the Dome by a mile!  I'm going again on Wednesday so I'm anxious to get some better shots.

Here Morneau takes the plate...  More Twins baseball shots to come!

Sunset on the Mighty Mississippi

Taken at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park about 2.5 miles from my house.  I bike here often and head up or down river (depending on the wind) - makes for great scenery and a nice ride!  If only the winds would die down so I can get back out there.

Pesky Dandelions

They might be pesky, but they make a cool view from this vantage point.

I love how just that one closed one is in focus here.  One of those accidentally on purpose moments...

A tree of pink

We have two flowering trees in our yard - one full of pink, the other white.
