a tough loss for the gophers.  but what a day!  62 degrees, sun, and football.  love it.  AND IOWA LOST!!!  Northwestern hung on to defeat the undefeated by a score of 17-10.  TCF Bank Stadium erupted in cheers when the score was announced.  WHO HATES IOWA?  WE HATE IOWA!

game day activities were in honor of veterans day.  2 parachuters landed in the middle of the field during the star spangled banner!

i've been saving this posts for months!  i was planning to post on game day for the Gophs, but i can't wait any longer.  someone needs to beat Iowa... ANYONE!

i've always had a strong hatred for the Hawkeyes, but the beating we took last year (55-0 if you need a reminder) and their success this year has only fueled my hatred! 

I need one of those shirts!

these guys were hilarious!  they ran around the tailgating lot "playing" the Minnesota Rouser on the toy drums & recorders and then chugged a beer.  what a great costume idea for game day!

They just keep coming!

the leaves always seem to be never-ending.  we just raked 2 days ago and the yard is already completely filled taking away any sense of accomplishment we had.  now we'll do it all over again this weekend.
